The papers presented at TARS 2023 will be published as follows:

Economy and Contemporary Society - ECS

(1) Best research and review articles in English, submitted, upon authors' consent, to a double-blind peer review process, will be published in a Special Issue of the Economy and Contemporary Society - ECS journal, Publishing House of the Romanian Academy. The issue will be indexed RePEc and EBSCO.

Tourism and Rural Space - TARS

(2)  Selected (by editors) research and review articles in English will be published in Volume 49, Issue 2 of the Tourism and Rural Space - TARS journal (former Romanian Rural Tourism in International Context: Present and Prospects). No peer review needed. The issue will be indexed CEEOL.

​

(3) Articles in English of the last 4 types of contributions accepted by TARS 2023 and all those in Romanian will be published in Volume 49, Issue 1 of the Tourism and Rural Space - TARS journal (former Romanian Rural Tourism in International Context: Present and Prospects). No peer review needed. The issue will not be indexed.

​

In order to be published, the articles must be presented either onsite or online at the conference.

Economy and Contemporary Society - ECS (former Yearbook of "Gh. Zane" Institute of Economic Research) is an international, scientific double-blind peer-reviewed open access journal published annually online by "Gh. Zane" Institute for Economic and Social Research – IaÈ™i Branch of Romanian Academy.

​

ECS is free of any fees or charges.

​

With the aim of providing a platform for the debate of current economic and social issues, the ECS journal invites submissions of research papers, state-of-the-art literature reviews, empirical articles and analytical essays drawing on interdisciplinary theoretical and methodological perspectives.

​

The mission of the journal is to disseminate original theoretical and empirical research relevant for scholars, practitioners, and policy-makers.

​

Contributions from economics, business, finance, and management are particularly welcomed.

​

The ECS journal also encourages submissions on timely, interdisciplinary current and emerging issues from related fields.

​

The journal will also publish special issues focusing on topics such as tourism, rural space, and regional development.
