Will TARS 2024 be held onsite or online?

TARS 2024 will be held onsite, in Vatra Dornei (Romania). Authors who cannot attend the conference will have the opportunity to present their papers online.
How much is the conference fee?

€50 / paper presented onsite A maximum of 2 papers with 1 common author may be presented and published for 1 fee. €50 / paper presented online A maximum of 2 papers with 1 common author may be presented and published for 1 fee. €75 / silent paper (paper not presented at the conference) 1 paper may be published for 1 fee. €50 / onsite participant (author or accompanying person) The fee will not be paid by the onsite presenting author. It will be paid by onsite co-authors and accompanying persons.
How many papers may I present and publish for 1 fee?

If you are an onsite or online presenting author, you may present and publish a maximum of 2 papers for €50. If you are a silent author (you do not present the paper at the conference), you may publish 1 paper for €75.
If I cannot come to Vatra Dornei, do I still have to pay €50?

If you present the paper online and want it to be published, you have to pay €50. If you present the paper online and do not want it to be published, you still have to pay €50. If you do not present the paper at the conference but want it to be published, you have to pay €75.
If I cannot come to Vatra Dornei, will my paper be published?

If you present the paper online, it will be published for €50. If you do not present the paper at the conference, it will be published for €75.

What are the publication opportunities for TARS 2024?

TARS volumes ▪ Selected (by editors) research and review articles in English will be published in Volume 52. No peer review needed. The volume will be indexed CEEOL. ▪ Articles in English of the last 4 types of contributions accepted by TARS 2024 and all those in Romanian will be published in Volume 51. No peer review needed. The volume will not be indexed. ECS journal ▪ Best research and review articles in English will be published in a Special Issue of the Economy and Contemporary Society - ECS journal, Publishing House of the Romanian Academy. Double-blind peer review needed (upon authors' consent). The issue will be indexed RePEc and EBSCO.

Where can I stay in Vatra Dornei?

The Centre of Training and Innovation for Development in the Carpathians - CEFIDEC will provide free accommodation for up to 50 people (in order of requests). On request, payable rooms can be booked at several guesthouses not far from the conference venue.
