Research articles are conceptual or empirically-based papers.
Conceptual papers focus on developing hypotheses and are usually discursive.
Empirical papers report on any type of research undertaken by the author(s) including the testing of a model, framework or data, market research or surveys.
Publication
Upon authors' consent, selected (by editors) manuscripts in English will undergo a double-blind peer review process before publication in the Economy and Contemporary Society (ECS), an international interdisciplinary, double-blind peer-reviewed, open access journal published annually online by the Publishing House of the Romanian Academy, Bucharest.
It is indexed in RePEc, DOAJ, ERIH+, EBSCO, OpenAIRE, and Index Copernicus.
ECS is free of any fees or charges.
